Police Blotters – February 2010

  • 7:11 p.m. — A woman reported what appeared to be a human vertebrae in her flower bed.
  • 8 p.m. — A caller reported finding a Chihuahua in a leopard coat.
  • 12:57 p.m. — A woman reported someone came into her residence and changed the lock on her door. She said it was an ongoing situation. She called back to report she had put the key in wrong.
  • 9:52 p.m. — A caller reported a person on the roof. It was found to be the owner, repairing the roof.
  • 7:41 p.m. — A woman reported a loose squirrel in her house. She did not want to try to catch it. The squirrel returned to a tree.
  • 10:08 a.m. — A woman reported she was drugged by people at Waste Management.
  • 9:57 a.m.– A caller reported two people in a red car throwing hot dog buns filled with rocks out the window of the vehicle.
  • 11:19 a.m. — A girl reported her friend saw something gross on the computer. She said it was a dead animal. The two were counseled on proper use of 911.
  • 8:41 a.m. — A woman reported someone opened her door and let the dogs out.
  • 3:44 p.m. — A caller reported an injured llama in the road. It was found to be a wild emu.
  • 11:52 a.m. — A caller reported a man in line asked another person if they wanted to “buy some herb.” He was advised to leave.
  • 10:20 a.m. — A caller reported two men put a baggie in the bushes. It was found to be a sack lunch.
  • 1:48 a.m. — A caller reported a knife was missing from his butcher block, and he believed a judge had been stealing them to make him believe he was mentally ill.
  • 12:40 p.m. — A caller reported finding a dead man in a vehicle. Deputies determined the man was not dead.
  • 12:15 a.m. — A caller reported an elderly man at the door in a T-shirt and underwear who said he’d been kidnapped. The man, whose wife said he suffers from dementia, was given a ride home.
  • 6:04 p.m. — A woman reported hearing 14 instances of knocking under the floorboards of her mobile home. This had been going on for months and sometimes she knocks and yells back. She also believes someone is getting in her home when she’s not there and is using her soap and towels. She wears headphones to block out the noise and keeps a loaded gun in the house. She also sometimes smells a foul odor coming from under the floorboards and requested documentation.
  • 11:39 p.m. – A man called to report his girlfriend hit him in the face with a toaster.
