Police Blotters – July 2008

This could be the best month ever for the police blotter – enjoy!

  • 3:44 p.m. – A caller reported an adult male in his 50s who urinated in front of the caller’s business and then boarded a bus.
  • 12:05 p.m. – A caller reported a woman screaming in the downtown area. Responding officers found the woman was screaming about rodents.
  • 5:15 p.m. – A woman reported that she saw a man at a laundromat put his child into a dryer and turn it on. She said she got into an argument with the man who then left with the child in a van.
  • 8:31 a.m. – A man reported he has been receiving pornographic materials in the mail. He said he called the company sending the materials, but they haven’t stopped mailing him. The man said he would call Fox News or Bill O’Reilly for help, as he knew they would despise such an occurrence.
  • 3:23 a.m. – A caller reported people in the bushes waving their arms. Officers contacted the people and transported them past the county line.
  • 2:44 p.m. – A woman reported her neighbors were breaking into her house and stealing her clothes and hair ties.
  • 1:31 p.m. – A business reported receiving a counterfeit $20 bill. Officers determined the bill was simply old and verified its authenticity at a nearby bank.
  • 2:37 a.m. – A woman called saying she found two men in her closet. She said she didn’t know who they were and said they left in an unknown vehicle.
  • 6:33 p.m. – A caller reported a naked man is walking down the road and jumps into the brush whenever vehicles pass him.
  • 12:32 a.m. – A caller reported her roommate is threatening her. She said he made threatening statements in the past, wrote his name in blood on the refrigerator and left to go sleep in the cemetery.
