We’re off to Tahoe for a few blissful days. We have our swimsuits and towels, sunscreen and books. And, of course, we’re bringing a few SF favorites to share with the family, such as:
- 3 lbs of Blue Bottle Coffee
- Miette’s super salted licorice
- 36 Primavera tamales
- 2 packs of Fatted Calf bacon
- Fatted Calf’s Sicilian al’Arancia salami.
And we’re getting in our SF fixes before we leave: we had ice cream from BiRite Creamery last night. I went to Kerri Kelly’s early morning yoga this morning and we’ll pick up Tartine pastries on our way out of town.

Have you tried the fennel salami? We got some this weekend, and wow … yum. I’m surprised there’s any left. (For now.) And Bi-rite. I kind of loathe you know for even mentioning it, considering it’s probably closed at this late hour and I’m now aching for the salted caramel. Mmmm.
